There has been a supply problem with Nystan pastilles for some time. There's
also been a supply problem with Amphotericin lozenges, probably because it's
not normally so popular.
As far as I am aware there isn't any other pastille/lozenge formulation.
Most of the Rx we have sent back to the surgery have been replaced with Nystatin
Suspension or your alternative of Daktarin oral gel. Amphotericin used to
come in a suspension and tablets too, but not any more.
Some of the Specials manufacturers can make nystatin pastilles, but they
work out at about £100 a box!

Are no more :(
Brief googling suggests amphotericin lozenges as alternative, though not in
BNF AFAICT nor in Multilex.
Anyone any suggestions re pastille / lozenge formulation?
Daktarin oral gel will do for the moment.
