In the DFG-project „Governance of Supplementary Pensions in Europe: Cross-
national Variations in Participation and Social Inequality (GOSPE)“ at
the Mannheim Centre for European Social Research (MZES) the following
positions are available for two years as of June / July 2007:
up to three part-time research positions for doctoral candidates (one
project part)
and/or one full-time research project position for post-docs (two project
parts)
Project part A): The Changing German Pension System
Project part B): Comparative Analysis of Pension Reforms in Europe
Project part C): Quantitative Analysis of Inequality in Old Age across
Europe
Requirements: Excellent knowledge of and particular interest in
comparative welfare state research; doctoral candidates: master degree or
equivalent in sociology or social sciences with the necessary
qualifications for doctoral studies (good or very good grades); or
postdocs: a doctoral degree in the social sciences.
