Arthur,
I think the way to do this is to create a 'suite' of templates that have a common stem to their name eg.
001-Welcome
001-My Background
001-My Aspirations
etc. Then your students can add these as items. In your instructions you can explain that their portfolios should consist of every '001' item - available from the drop-down list. This is what we're doing.
Gerard.

Subject: Common ePortfolio Structure
Hi,
I am trying to create a portfolio structure that contains a standard
list of item names for all users, ie a template portfolio. Have
searched the manual but cannot find any information on how this can be
achieved. Does Bb allow for such a template to be created?
I presume that I could create an empty portfolio with the structure
(and constituent items) I wanted but how would I "give" it to everyone?
many thanks,
Arthur Loughran
