The RAINMAP network (www.rainmap.rl.ac.uk )and the Environmental
Statistics Section of the Royal Statistical Society wish to announce
a joint meeting on "Handling uncertainty in the measurement of
rainfall", to be held at the Royal Statistical Society, Errol Street,
London on Thursday April 26th (see below for full programme details).

Participation in the meeting and lunch are free, and Rainmap members
will be reimbursed standard travelling expenses (limited to a maximum
of the standard 2nd class return train/tube fare). To attend the
