Charmian sounds great (if for her name if nothing else). Be sure to send her
contact details to Hilde ([log in to unmask]) and John Churchley
([log in to unmask]) so she can be signed up.
Have you completely recovered now? Hope so! D

Subject: Introduction
I'd like to introduce Charmian Love to our list. Charmian is just
finishing her work at Harvard Business School and planning to start a
new business that will get more people involved with art and also
provide supplemental income for artists. She's an enthusiastic
citizen of Canada, so this will all likely happen in the Toronto
area. She has been involved with the Council for Business in the
Arts in Canada, and with mounting Nuit Blanche, an overnight arts
festival in Toronto, during which the entire city was turned into a
huge celebration of the arts. Her educational background (before
business school) is art history.
I recommended to her that she become involved in this list because
she has been asking some pretty deep questions about the differences
between creative activity in general, and art specifically. I hope
others will join me in welcoming Charmian.
