SECOND CALL:
The bursary offers the candidate an opportunity to
work with Dr Kip Jones, Bournemouth Unversity,
full-time for three years on an exciting biographic
narrative study on older gays and lesbians in rural
settings. The PhD project will form the basis of a
short film to be produced by a professional filmmaker,
using the data from the project and an action research
approach to analysis.

Candidates with an interest in the biographic
narrative interpretive method and action research are
encouraged to apply.
The studentship is available for three years full-time
study and provides a bursary of £12,900 per annum.
Candidates should hold a good first degree (First
Class, Upper-Second Class or equivalent) and/or a
Masters degree in the appropriate discipline.
