We are looking for an enthusiastic and suitably qualified information professional to join a team providing library & information services to staff within the Trust.
You will be based at St James’s University Hospital where you will be working with Leeds University library staff to develop the present university-run library into a joint service. You will also provide library support for Trust staff at other sites including Seacroft Hospital. You will manage all aspects of the Trust’s library service provision for these sites: answering enquiries, training & supporting users, promoting the service, and developing and exploiting the collections. You will also be involved in a number of cross-organisational projects as part of the ongoing implementation of a citywide NHS library development strategy
You should have at least two years’ experience in a library or information service, preferably in the public sector. You will need to have excellent communication skills, well developed IT skills, and must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
