Was the additional capacity needed? And as PACS was never part of OBS
and "core", has your PCT's budget been charged for commissioning this
service (were they consulted and was the Business Case more robust than
that for ITCs?) in spite of the apparent dismal failure?
I'm glad your patients and you were not affected directly - although, if
anyone had had their hopes raised, they mightn't feel there were no
immediate consequences..
