Currently have two vacancies for the position of: Cataloguing Archivist
A new Cross Border Archive Project in the Newry & Mourne-Louth region aims to make accessible via ICT archival information on the historical development of these regions that is held in the archives of Newry and Mourne Museum and Louth County Archive Service. Both areas will be linked in an online database, supplemented by an online exhibition and education resource. To achieve the aim of this project we now wish to immediately recruit two Cataloguing Archivists.
The Cataloguing Archivists will be responsible for processing the archival collections which will be placed on the online database and for carrying out a number of other related duties. The successful candidates will be educated to third level education in history and will hold the required qualifications or work experience as specified in the job specifications.
Salary Scale - €30,000 (£20,100)
