Dear Geoffrey, dear Francesco,
when you check the origins, please note that SPM5 does not position the
crosshair at (0,0,0) mm in Display and CheckReg, but in the middle of your
image field of view. Thus, even if you move the origin around, initial
Display or CheckReg image displays will look the same as before. You need
to check the coordinates (in the information panel for Display, and in the
image context menu for CheckReg) to find out where you are.
