I agree with Laura Goodall. The salary for the Gallery Assistant
position is laughable, and that for the Education Officer is also
ridiculously low. For the latter, it seems that Thinktank are looking
for a graduate with a PGCE/QTS, with both museum/science centre and
school teaching experience. For 19k per annum! Entry-level teaching
salaries remain poor, but the bottom of the scale for QTS is over 20k.
These are not internships being advertised here, with pocket money
wages for youngsters trying to gain a little experience. They are
permanent salaried positions.
