Okay, that's into another universe, & what a gift. But.
Sonny Rollins here, after a number of young saxophonists had played all
week, coming out & playing a 20 minute acappella intro to his first
number, blowing them all away.
Lee Konitz with a fine young trio of Canadians he had played with for a
week, completely without miking, & each set was a full hour of non-stop
playing any ne of them able to sift to a new number by just starting in
that direction.
