Resource Description and Access (RDA) is the successor to AACR2. This
presentation by Gordon Dunsire, who is a member of the RDA Outreach Group and
the CILIP-BL Committee on AACR, will cover the background, features and latest
developments of this important emerging standard for bibliographic metadata
content. The presentation follows the 2007 Annual General Meeting of the
Cataloguing and Indexing Group in Scotland (CIGS).
Stuart James, one of the founder members of CIGS, will also give a presentation
looking back over the history of the group.
There is no charge for attendance at this event, and membership of CIGS is not
required.
