Information literacy and outreach trainer
ALC Grade 2 salary scale, currently £24,116

This exciting opportunity has arisen to complete a two year pilot
project, jointly funded by King's College London ISS and South East
London NHS.
You will be responsible for developing, delivering and promoting information literacy training programmes
to primary care and mental health staff in South East London. The training will be delivered across all
the South East London boroughs, in consultation with existing information literacy and outreach trainers.
You will also work as part of the Research and Learning Liaison team at King's, including supporting inductions
and enquiry work.
You need to be a professionally qualified graduate or equivalent, with 2 years' relevant information experience,
an ability to teach small and large groups, and have excellent IT, information literacy, and communication skills.
Salary will be within the ALC Grade 2 salary scale, currently £24,116 to £31,211 per annum
(plus London Allowance of £2,323 per annum) depending on skills and
experience. Benefits include an annual season ticket loan scheme, a

This post is fixed term for 15 months due to no reasonably foreseeable
prospect of short-term funding being renewed.
