In this major research library, Faculty Team Librarians support learning, teaching and research activities through the delivery of customer-focused services to University students, researchers and staff. They are responsible for collection management and development and the provision of information skills sessions.
You will be a graduate or equivalent and have a professional library qualification or substantial relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent IT and communications skills, a background in arts or humanities scholarship and a good working knowledge of one or more of the following languages: Greek, Latin, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese or Italian. A teamworker, you will have a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work under pressure and balance workloads is essential.
Grade: University of Leeds Grade 6 (£21,682 to £25,889) or Grade 7 (26,666 to 31,840).
Please note that all Library staff are required to wear name badges.
