In order to make the experience of the regular Report & Information on
Saturday morning at the ASW as useful as it can be for all present I propose
to compile at least one PowerpPoint slide for each person presenting a
report, whether in person or in writing.
If you have any news to impart on changes to your library service, projects,
issues affecting the wider profession or indeed anything that you think will
be relevant and of interest to colleagues, including controversies, please
send me an email with the following details:
Your name
Your institution (if relevant)
Your email address
A website URL (if relevant)
A title, phrase or sentence that conveys some idea of your topic
Reports could also usefully be received on news from the regions or from
different sectors.
This process will not in any way preclude anyone from producing longer
PowerPoints of their own but it should assist with identification and note
taking, especially for newcomers in the audience. It will also assist me
with preparation of the running order.
Contributions are welcome from this moment onwards ... and earlier is
definitely better than later! I would prefer not to be adding additional
slides before bedtime on Friday or over breakfast on Saturday though for
very recent news that is of course possible.
Thanks,
Ag
