hi karl
the basic objective of FOW should be to get its act together and create a
program which might find a home in one institution. An institute or a
subprogram within a department and then grow the idea with increased
acceptance by students, faculty and administration.
The other way is to write philosophical pieces and see who buys the idea.
This path has not worked for Nick who has tried hard to get these ideas into
the mainstream. So, I would say, this path, as this list is trying to do
here, is an interesting place to exchange ideas, but IMHO, it will not
provide the momentum to create a movement.
