The Refugee Studies Centre at the Department of International
Development, University of Oxford is looking for a Departmental Lecturer
in International Refugee and Human Rights Law
Salary Grade 7: £25,889 - £31,840 p.a. (with a discretionary range to
£34,793 p.a.)
Applications are invited for a two-year fixed-term teaching and research
appointment beginning 1st September 2007. Duties include teaching on
international human rights and refugee law as part of the MSc degree in
Forced Migration, supervising graduate students, engaging in examining
and assessments and undertaking relevant research. Applicants should
have qualifications which include a doctorate or equivalent in law or a
law-related subject, the ability to teach graduate students, an active
research and publications record in the field of human rights and
international asylum regimes and the ability to work effectively with
colleagues as part of an interdisciplinary team.
