Coordination of Collaborative Engineering: State of the Art and Future
Challenges
11 April 2007 - 13 April 2007 Krakow, PolandThis workshop will focus on
an essential aspect of collaboration: the coordination of work in
dispersed groups. Collaborative Engineering aims at providing concepts,
technologies and solutions for supporting work in dispersed engineering
teams. The increased industrial demand for this innovative approach is
based on the fact that networked organization structures are common
practice in numerous industry sectors, like automobile, aerospace,
electronics or construction. Collaboration has become a key issue for
agile and flexible engineering processes. This event is organised by the
EU project MAPPER in coordination with the "Ambient Intelligence
Technologies for the Product Lifecycle" Cluster.
