Achieving Growth through Strategic Innovation
29 March 2007 - 30 March 2007 Brussels, BelgiumThis is the second
international conference jointly organised by MIT-ILP (Massachusetts
Institute of Technology - Industrial Liaison Program) and Agoria
(Federation for the technology industry in Belgium) on effective
innovation mechanisms and visions of innovative companies. Day two will
have a specific focus on innovation in the energy sector and ICT-enabled
healthcare. The conference provides one of the few occasions in Europe
to meet and network with leading MIT faculty members.

24 October 2007 - 26 October 2007 The Hague, The NetherlandsThis
conference and exhibition is targeted towards commercial, government and
research organisations with the aim to share knowledge and experience,
lessons learnt and good practice. This year's event will focus on
Applied ICT research topics addressing major societal and economic
challenges. The programme will combine strategic keynote presentations,
technical and policy papers, case studies, workshops, an exhibition and
social activities. The programme will showcase results from projects
funded at national and regional level as well as those funded by
European Commission Research Programmes.
A Call for Papers has now been launched.

EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT
1st European Innovation Dialogue Interest Group Meeting
6 March 2007 Brussels, BelgiumParticipants to the first meeting of the
European Innovation Dialogue (EID) Interest Group will discuss and
prioritise those innovation issues that will constitute the core of the
platform's future agenda. Each topic will be introduced by short
presentations from a variety of experts including representatives from
the European Commission, small and large companies and innovation
stakeholders with different backgrounds from across Europe. The initial
statements will be followed by a discussion involving all participants.
The ultimate goal of the meeting is to lay the foundation for a
permanent innovation dialogue platform.

Workshop to prepare for the World Radiocommunications Conference
9 March 2007 Brussels, BelgiumThis workshop is jointly organised by the
European Commission and by the CEPT (European Conference of Postal and
Telecommunications Administrations) to prepare for the WRC-07 in the
