Ralph,
As a Tynesider you should look at The EPICS project website
(http://www.epics.ac.uk/EPICS) or go straight to the ePet site
(http://www.epics.ac.uk/ePET) for information about the system developed
at Newcastle as a part of regional project.
I can give you a direct contact name, if you email me offline
([log in to unmask]).
Regards,
Bruce

Subject: E-portfolios and Blackboard
As a college we are currently looking into e-portfolios and would be
interested to know what systems other users are using. Whether it is
blackboards own system, and in house developed system or a third party
applications, the successes and flaws of the implementation and any
thoughts on e-portfolios as a system to track student progression???
As if anyone knows of any WEBCT users I could speak to as information
coming from are account manager is that Blackboard are looking by the
end of the year to implement a number of the e-portfolio enhancements
(basically taking the good bits from WEBCT as adding them to there own
system).
