RESEARCHING LIVES OVER TIME
Organised by Real Life Methods, part of the ESRC National Centre for
Research Methods
Date: Friday 16 March 2007
Location: London South Bank University
This workshop will provide an introduction to qualitative longitudinal
(QL) research, exploring what it is, and how researchers can generate,
analyse and interpret QL data, taking into account a range of practical
and ethical issues. Sessions will draw on practical examples of QL
research, including the use of visual methods for 'capturing' lives
through time and exploring the value of this mode of enquiry for a range
