Dear Members
I am a first year PhD student within the School of Informatics at
Manchester University, under the supervision of Dr. Antonella De-Angeli.
My research topic is 'Physiognomic attributions towards Virtual
Embodiment.' I am currently trying to collect pictures of Embodied
Conversational Agents/Avatars that have been used in past research, or
are currently being developed. I plan to run a few experimental studies
with them and investigate how physiognomy affects our perception towards
these agents.
I am interested in the frontal view of such agents, mainly focusing on
the head and shoulder area, as well as full embodiment. I would be
grateful if any of the members reading this could send me a soft copy of
such pictures via email.
All pictures used in this research will be fully acknowledged in any
publication.
Regards
Rabia Khan
