Digital World Research Centre, University of Surrey
Salary: £25,889 per annum
We are looking to recruit a postgraduate Research Fellow to work on a 12 month research project investigating the re-use of photographs in the home. The post-holder will carry out a series of home-based interviews followed by a new technology trial. Candidates should have a PhD in sociology, psychology or a related discipline, and an interest in the application of social science findings to design.
The Researcher will be based at Digital World Research Centre at the University of Surrey and supervised by Prof David Frohlich. However, the project is funded by Kodak European Research in Cambridge UK, and will involve close collaboration with research staff there.
Digital World Research Centre is a multidisciplinary research group doing user-centred research and innovation for the consumer market. Kodak European Research is part of the worldwide Kodak research and development community and employs approximately 25-30 people. Its mission is to focus on unique European science and technology skills through collaborative partnerships with universities.
