We're pleased to announce the launch of READING ROOM, a new refereed
journal of art and culture published by the E.H McCormick Research Library
at the Auckland Art Gallery.
The first issue "Autobiography in the Wake of Conceptualism", is edited by
Christina Barton, Wystan Curnow and Robert Leonard and features
contributions from key New Zealand, Australian and international art
writers.
Contributors include Mieke Bal, Susan Best, Jennifer French, Anthony
Gardner, Andrew McNamara, Marcus Moore, Mike Parr and Charles Reeve. With
writing on Billy Apple, Louise Bourgeois, Benvenuto Cellini, Theresa Hak
Kyung Cha, Marcel Duchamp, Adrian Hall, Derek Jarman, On Kawara, Lucy
Kimbell, Ron Silliman, Ricky Swallow and more.
A copy of Reading Room has been sent this week to all our publications
exchange partners.
