This completely fly's in the face of what Cerner are demanding to do with the data collection worksheets to represent orders in Millennium Path system (Southern Cluster).
Order sets are predefined and are non sensical in the context of UK medicine
Test descriptions are molecular terms and will lead to de-standardisation (7 ways to describe a urine sodium)
Tests have been allocated to wrong path specialties (LFT is an immunology test)
We have been denied freedom of choice to rectify this as changes have to be routed through a complex change control mechanism.
I could go on......
