ICWL is an annual international conference on web-based learning. The
first ICWL was held in Hong Kong in 2002. Since then, it has been held
in Australia (2003), China (2004), Hong Kong (2005), and Malaysia
(2006). ICWL 2007 will be the 6th ICWL conference and held in
Edinburgh, United Kingdom, a beautiful city full of culture and
history. The technical program will feature keynote addresses,
tutorials, and special sessions, in addition to technical
presentations of refereed papers.

- Practice and Experience Sharing
- Pedagogical Issues
In addition to the regular papers, there is also a special session on
Security and Privacy and a workshop on Blended Learning.
Paper Submissions
Authors are invited to submit original papers reporting on research
results or novel applications in web-based learning. Papers for
submissions should be formatted in single column, 1.5 spacing of no
more than 20 pages for review. All papers should be submitted in PDF
format. Submission details will be announced here shortly. All
accepted papers will appear in a Conference Proceedings to be
distributed during the conference. All accepted full papers presented
in the conference will be published as a volume in Lecture Notes in
Computer Science, to be distributed after the conference.
Full paper submission deadline: March 23, 2007 (extended)
Special Issues
Authors of the best papers presented in this conference will be
invited to submit extended version of their papers for possible
publication in the following special issues:
- IEEE Trans. on Knowledge and Data Engineering,
for those papers relevant to knowledge and data engineering.
- Journal of Distance Education Technologies (JDET),
for papers of other areas.
