As I want a stable system for a daily job for another RAL project, I
thought I'd install the hokulei release in my /star tree. I'd use /star
for the daily job and not worry about software developments derailing or
modifying the processing.
When I try smurfhelp (picking something new at random to check that I
was accessing the hokulei release) it fails.
ix86_Linux> smurfhelp
/star/bin/smurf/smurfhelp: error while loading shared libraries:
libgsl.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Indeed locate indicates that I don't have a libgsl.so.0. kaphelp works
fine.
The Linux installation instructions don't mention this library (GNU
Scientific Library) may be missing. Which version of GSL should I
download?
