Yes I could hear Patrick saying words to that effect as I wrote it.
The website is a shop window for the few of us remaining, showing that
we still have a contribution to make, and might attract partners for new
projects. Also it reminds researchers who don't use JAC facilities, of
what they're missing in other areas like optical spectroscopy
reductions, automated or otherwise. Our applications are very dated in
this area.
We have to emphasize what is now supported, and that it's only fraction of
the former applications collection (a graphic might hit home better).
Also that the support is directed to JAC's mission, and other user
support and fixes are on a best-efforts or self-help basis.
