Dear SPMers,
I am a new SPM user (SPM5) and am wondering if there is commonly a visual
difference between the region of significance shown in the glass brain
image compared with the actual outputted 3D image, which I view with
MRIcro. I am doing an analysis on structural T1 images, finding
significant differences in gray matter volume (atrophy) between young and
old subjects. The images have been registered to MNI space, segmented,
normalized, modulated, and smoothed. The SPM-calculated region of
significance looks much larger in the glass brain visualization than in
the ROS mask 3D image that we outputted, even though the volume (in
voxels) is the same. Any insights? I haven't been able to find any
previous posts that answer my question. Thank you, I appreciate any
possible help.
Sincerely,
Kalani Matsumura
