It strikes me that this description is unbelievably gross ... and seem a
straw man - media and cultural studies have been arguing against
whatever is being described as 1.0 for about thirty years... indeed this
straw man is brought out every couple of years, given a pummelling, and
then redressed in new garb and given a new name. Hmmmm.
