We all sound like debate is a good idea, though the
normative oppositions 'enthusiastic discussion' and
'head-in-the-sand rejection' and 'interesting
argument' to 'surly 'I have been doing this for
years'.
I'd suggest rejection and 'nothing new' claims are
just as valid, rather than 'head-in-the-sand' (which
assumes the phenomenon is in fact real and being
ignored).

Cheers David - thanks for the links! Have people been
relating this debate to the same debate in educational
technology (different terms, same claims)? That
would be valuable.
