Rachel Beckett
Aim:
To help participants understand change and provide them with strategies for dealing with change at home or at work.
Objectives
By the end of the session participants will be able to:
- describe the nature of change
- identify our responses to change
- outline strategies for coping positively with change
About the trainer: Rachel Beckett is currently Staff Training and Development Co-ordinator at University of Manchester and previously held this post at UMIST. She also has considerable experience of site library management and of subject work in HE and FE libraries. Prior to embarking on her career in libraries, Rachel spent a number of years teaching English as a foreign language abroad and in the UK.
