Senior Biostatistician  Based in  Strasbourg , Netherlands  or UK 
Ref: FW 11526

JOB ROLE:   The main purpose of this role is to provide a statistical 
service for the design and reporting of clinical trials and the 
coordination and production of statistical outputs.  

PRINCIPAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
•	Performing protocol development/sample size calculation & 
protocol/CRF review
•	Reviewing the generation of randomisation schema
•	Coordinating and performing data review & statistical analyses
•	Coordinating and producing tables, listings & figures
•	Writing statistical sections for integrated reports and statistical 
reports
•	Advising Data Management with respect to database design, 
validation checks & key data
•	Setting and maintaining professional statistical and programming 
standards
•	Performing internal process and technical training
•	Performing role of mentor for Biostatisticians and Trainees
•	Developing and improving statistics & programming processes
•	Providing operational input into proposals and undertaking customer 
liaison
•	Identifying new business opportunities for existing customers 
•	Inducting new staff 
•	Providing input into department objectives
•	Reviewing resource requirements for assigned projects
•	Attending customer meetings to discuss project requirements/progress
•	Understanding scope of work, budget and scope assumptions
•	Identifying out of scope work & provide revised costs with 
supporting documentation
•	Providing monthly revenue & resource forecasts, including % task 
complete & cost to complete
•	Performing lead Statistical Team Leader role for single study 
projects

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
•	MSc in Statistics or related subject 
•	Relevant experience as a Biostatistician within the 
CRO/Pharmaceutical industry.
•	Working knowledge of SAS 
•	The ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
