Integration: If not now, then when? - the community development approach
8 March 2007, Business Design Centre, London
A CDF Conference
Britain's demographic makeup is changing. Public policy is grappling with
issues of integration: how to promote equality, diversity, and cohesion. But
what do they mean in practice?
Integration: If not now, then when? - developing community relations
will bring a wide range of perspectives and experiences together to discuss
what integration means for communities while promoting community
development's contribution to building community relations and tackling
tensions. It explores how community development methods and values are used
to acknowledge cultural differences and ethnic origins while seeking
equality for all.
Come and debate the issues, explore new approaches and share experience.
