something I rarely notice.
Glad to hear that Wiki is more accurate than it used
to be. But my warning _is_ a caution, and it stands.
in response to Christopher's link between pronouns and
poetics, I think of Stalin and the forced "Nature" of
totalitarian art in general, not just fiction and
poetry.
I also think of the late Prynne (surprise!), who was
strictly of the modernist "we" camp until his most
recent chapbook, where (shockingly) "I" appears a
couple of times, and it's that unexpected "I" (along
with the repeated "hurt" which makes _To Pollen_a
_human_ work, although not a personal one. I suspect
that few of us want the personal from the late Prynne
anyway.
