For sure he is himself. I've known the gentleman going back to the days
of rec.arts.poems in the early '90s, when it was still a civilized place
to display your work and learn something. Nicolayev was there, a few
others with some gifts. Then it was taken over by drunken college boyz
and Neutopians.
