Good point, & in whose eyes famous?
I will say nevertheless, that getting to hear & meet Robert Creeley &
Robert Duncan, if only briefly, meant a lot to me. But equally knowing
bpNicvhol & Phyllis Webb, for example. And anyway the only meeting that
counts, to me as a poet, is in the poems that tell. Tell me how to
read, how to write, perhaps how to live.
