Abstract
This presentation will give an overview of the key Data Mining components.
Drawing from his experience the speaker will present case studies, which
highlight the use and the value of Data Mining in industry, for instance to
comply with the Basel II accord.

Speaker's biography
Erich has over 15 years of experience in the IT industry as a management
consultant. He has held senior positions in global consultancies, such as
Accenture, and is currently a Technical Director at BT Global Services. His
primary focus is Enterprise Architecture and he has led several Data
Warehousing projects looking at compliance in the financial industry.
