Hi Folks
Recently I sent a copy of my paper on models for the profession
highlighting the model that emerged form Chang's PhD (1994) and the model
which from our own study CeNPRaD (Centre for Nurse Practice Research
and Development)at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen based on the
Scottish OHN survey 2001.
The results from the survey have been presented at both the RCN SOHN and
the RCN OHN Forum conferences as well as other RCN conferences like the
International Research Confernce and NES and was accepted for ICOH in
Malin last year, but sadly I have to withdraw due to lack of financial
support from my university
Since this work I have focused on other areas such as models for OH/PH,
and our evidence base practice. But the work on models although has been
published in the OH magazine and presented at conferences I thought it may
be worth distributing it to list memebrs. So you should be able to print
it off but not edit it has there are various rules that I have applied to
it.
I know that some of you may not be interested in models but I also know
that there are others who are. Simply becasue of the comments I have
personally received form the evaluation questionnaires that students and
delegates have completed at the end of my teaching and learning secessions
on this subject.
So here is something else to think about!
Best wishes
From Maureen McBain (Mo)
