Interesting - I've started to add keyboard support to ours. At the moment it can't be used without a mouse, so fails the w3c accessibility guidelines on device independence. The experimental accessible version is here:
http://eatyourgreens.org.uk/testapps/magnifier/ (Tab to move throught the links, enter to activate the magnifier, cursor keys to move it around when it's active).
Our code should be free for educational/non-commercial use. It's reasonably simple to add to your own web pages. I haven't written up any proper instructions yet on how to include the code in other pages, but if you are interested in using it then drop me a line.
Right-clicking and saving the 2500px images is a bit of an issue, but those jpegs are compressed at around about 50-60% so I naively assumed they'll be no good for commercial use.
Thanks to everyone for the very positive feedback.
Jim
