Can anyone explain this to me - and help, if possible.
Search on Medline for the author Bomford-C-K. This brings up about 18
results, including at least 3 from the British Journal of Radiology
(BJR). But they have three different ISSNs: 0007-1285, 0961-2653,
0306-8854.
The last 2 are supplements and it looks as if they have different ISSNs
- i.e. different from the "parent" journal AND different from each
other.
The supplements also appear to have a different numbering of volumes
e.g. 1992 is vol 65, but the supplement for 1989 (only 3 years earlier)
is vol 23.
I have the paper copies for these years of the main volumes, but the
only supplements I have are conference proceedings and they seem to have
the same vol nos as the main sequence.
I'm mystified.
