Do we mean F or C? (Warning: some organisations email software removes
emails using such words).
The first time I heard the C word used in a film (and it may still be a
rarity that it is used) was in Quadrophenia.
I think you must be talking about C because F is used so often these
days one hardly notices it.

(but the C isn't C**** even if some think I am)

Subject: The use of swearing in film
Hello,
We have a student who is researching a project on the use of swearing,
profanities and taboo language in film, in particular in the film
Trainspotting and especially that 4 letter old English word we often
hear these days and spelt ****
Initial research has found several leads, including some from Google and
books on swearing in our own collection - I'm just wondering if anyone
can suggest other sources.
Any and all suggestions will be most appreciated,
Regards,
