London - the Senate House Library and the Institute libraries of the
School of Advanced Study.
MEMBERSHIP & CIRCULATION ASSISTANT
1 year fixed-term in the first instance

£17,418 - £20,837 p.a. inc. LW
You will work at Membership and Circulation service-points providing a
number of services including registration; issue, return and renewal of
books; reservations; and servicing the Closed Stack collection. You will
also provide administrative support across a range of activities such as
processing reservations, dealing with lost and overdue books, and handling
of fines and other charges.
Relevant work experience gained in a customer service environment
(including experience of cash handling) is essential and you must have
strong interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a strong
commitment to positive public service. Good keyboarding skills are
required and knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel etc) is
desirable.
