Hi
At Cambridge we do not check to see if reader has any fines before
processing their ILL Request. However, I would expect that if they had
large/long overdue fines, then admission to the Library would be barred.
They have to scan their Library cards to gain admission - so it is quite
easy to deny access.
We do not allow any ILL loans to leave our Reading Room. We never allow for
home reading. Photocopies are sent directly to readers home address/ or
college if received from BL. Other photocopies are send directly to us and
we inform reader by email or letter to come and collect.
Our charges are £3 for members of Cambridge University and £6 for others.
payment is made on application. Application is normally made in person.
Hope this helps.
