Hello All
We are organising a study day for library staff and interested others to
explore the information needs of commissioners, public health and primary
care staff within the commissioning process. To take place at the Lancaster
House Hotel on 15th March 2007.
The event is being led by Sue Lacey Bryant of NLH, who most of us know
already, and speakers include
Angie Clarke – Head of Service NLH
Peter Rowe – CEO Ashton, Leigh and Wigan PCT
Seamus McGirr – NHS North West
Kay England - Commissioning Manager Manchester PCT and our
very own Katherine Bell – PCT librarian, who will talk about the
Commissioner newsletter
There will be group sessions in the afternoon to discuss key issues around
information needs for commissioning, and to produce some action points for
the future.
I will send out a programme as soon as I get details of the speakers'
presentations
All NHS library staff are invited. Please cascade to any other public health
or primary care staff you feel may be interested. A booking form is
attached.
