There was an excellent discussion last November about mash-ups. A
number of people posted interesting services and sites that might be
of interest to this community. A particular example that was useful
for me was the US museums timeline service.

An example that popped up on the CETIS-Metadata list today is the
Google Earth mapping of avian flu info.
