David Rose's The Stripper (1962) is what you really need. Originally on
Verve/Universal, you should be able to find it on various dodgy
compilation albums.
"Tease: The Beat Of Burlesque" [VERVE 9880706] conveniently collects all
those classic raunchy numbers!

Subject: [IAML-UK-IRL] Query
Dear all,
I've had a request for striptease music from one of our readers but have
no
idea what it's called, who the composer is or how to get hold of the
music. She's doing a sketch for the WI and assures me she is NOT doing
a "Full Monty"! I did suggest that she imitate the lads in the film and
use Tom Jones' "You can leave your hat on" but she wants the traditional
tune. You know the one I mean: Ta ta TAAA, ta-ta ta TAAA, ta ta TAAA,
ta-
ta ta TAAA...
Can anybody help?
