Hi Michael,
I also teach in Ohio (OSU) and I have written about Galician music in an
article for the Journal of Spanish Cultural Studies entitled:
"Amusement Parks, Bagpipes and Cemeteries: Fantastic Spaces of Galician
Identity through Migration." This is the articles bibliographic
reference: Journal of Spanish Cultural Studies 7.2 (2006): 155-169.
Xelis de Toro Santos also has a very good article about Galician music.
