Just out of interest, does anyone have any stats or indication of
whether they're getting hits on their repository items direct from these
services?

I know a lot of institutions haven't yet decided to subscribe to Web
Citation Index, or Current Web Contents, but as Theo suggests, surely
it's a good thing to have as much exposure to content as possible?

I've been having a quick look at Web Citation Index again this morning,
and it seems that they're now doing things to try to add value to their
info on records held in Repositories (adding citation details that
aren't necessarily held by the Repository, for example). It'd be really
impressive if they started providing links to Repository items direct
from Web of Science, but I think the chances of them being persuaded to
do that are pretty slim...

Cheers,
Tom George
